Fly fishing has been a big part of my life for more than a decade. It’s taken me to beautiful places, helped me slow down, and shaped how I see the world.

But the path to feeling confident on the water wasn’t always clear. In the beginning, I spent a lot of time confused, frustrated, and wondering if I was doing it all wrong. That feeling of not knowing where to cast, what to tie on, or why nothing was working—it almost made me give up more than once.

That’s why I started Confident Angler. I want to help beginner and intermediate anglers push through the uncertainty and become more confident anglers, so they can actually enjoy their time on the water.
